Dog-friendly hotels (0 to 100 points): We used Google Travel to find dog-friendly hotels available in each city and calculated the number by the city’s population size.

North American Retailers

Dog Restaurants (0 to 100 points): The BringFido.com directory helped us find dog restaurants in each city, and then we rated them individually.

Rental Rates (0 to 100 points): We obtained rental data using Realtor.com to get the most up-to-date information on real estate and rental properties in each city. We calculated individual data (100,000 people).

Pet Sitters (0 to 100 points): We used the SitterCity Index to determine the number of available dogs per capita in each city.

Dog Insurance Price (0 to 100 points): We collected data on dog insurance prices by searching the Figo website. We organize the data by creating a combined dog with the same insurance premium (male, two years old, 90% premium, $500 deductible with $5,000 in benefits).
