It’s only natural that you want to spend your free time with your four-legged friends and do fun and silly things with the rest of the group. Dogs are creatures of fresh air by nature and like to wander around in different places; Especially with your best friend by your side. Enjoying a day on the water with your pup can add a lot of fun to any sailing trip. As pack animals, dogs like to do what the pack does. So if you’re looking for a pet-friendly cruise with your pooch, look no further than City Cruise for a great time everyone will enjoy. Taking your dog on a boat can add even more fun to an already fun experience. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! We’ve rounded up some of the best ways to spend time in the water with your furry friend.

Dog Friendly Copenhagen: Visiting Copenhagen With A Dog

Chicagoans sure love their pets and are welcome in many restaurants, cafes and shops. You can even bring them on City Cruises Chicago (and they’re free)! Take in the best of what Lake Michigan has to offer with the Seadog Lakefront speedboat tour with the whole group (including the dog) while racing along the shore. With pet-friendly hotels, parks and restaurants, it’s clear that Boston is a pet-friendly city. If you’re thinking of getting out on the water with your canine companion, look no further than City Cruises Boston for some great options.

Boston’s Provincetown/Cape Cod Express Ferry and Boston’s Salem Ferry are always two great pet-friendly options. Travelers traveling to the destination for a day trip or staycation can bring their dogs along for the ride. It takes 90 minutes on the Cape Cod ferry and about 40 minutes on the Salem ferry – so the trip isn’t too long for pets, and a good thing is the full concierge service on board!

Can I Take My Dog To Europe?

Our Boston Harbor History Cruise and our new Boston Harbor Lighthouse and Stories Cruises are dog-friendly too – the cruises are 1 or 2 hours long, so they’re not too long for them. The view of the harbor and lighthouse is a great opportunity for photos and selfies, and snacks and a full bar are also available. Live storytelling also provides history and entertainment for the journey.

Our New England Aquarium and Whale Watching cruises are “dog friendly” but trips last approximately 4 hours. We want everyone to enjoy being on board, so please make the best decision for your family as the journey may be too long for some puppies. We offer outdoor viewing platforms and indoor spaces with large windows for the best view. Cocktails are available from our full bar and light snacks are available for purchase. New England Aquarium naturalists will share information, answer your questions and explain the fascinating behavior of these majestic mammals, and the spectacular views are unbeatable.

Finally, we offer transportation around town and dogs can board with their owners.
