Dog Friendly Cabin Gold Coast – If you’re planning to travel with your dog in Queensland, but don’t have your own trailer or camper, a good alternative is to stay in a pet-friendly, usually motorhome. While many rooms unfortunately do not allow, I have found a wide range of accommodation in Queensland, from the south of the country to the north of the Queen.

Dog Friendly Cabin Gold Coast
The Granite Wine Belt region of southern Queens is a lovely dog-friendly destination to visit, including the central town of Stanthorp. The city’s top tourist park on the outskirts of town offers a variety of convenience options for pet owners, including affordable pet-friendly treats.
Sunshine Coast Regional Pet Friendly Holiday Rentals
Some standard prisons are pet friendly. Each of the studio-style rooms sleeps four people, with a double bed and two single beds, as well as a kitchen and private bathroom. There are also some luxury family cabins, which usually have a double bed in a separate bedroom and a wood-burning fireplace.
The park is just a short drive from the city center and includes a pool, games room, covered BBQ area and plenty of space to walk your pooch surrounded by bushland.
If you’d rather head to the beach with your pooch in Queensland, a dog-friendly county park on the Gold Coast is Kirra Beach Tourist Park. Just a short walk from the beach (and a short drive to off-shore Palm Beach), dogs are allowed year-round in select dog-friendly areas and dog-friendly cabins.
Two spacious two-bedrooms have been converted into dog-friendly cabins. Each table is included and has a pet-proof mesh, perfect for relaxing around meals, perhaps using the balcony grill. Inside there are two bedrooms for four people, a kitchen with a dishwasher and a bathroom.

Please note that normally only one small dog is allowed per booking and must be up to date on vaccinations. An additional $32 apartment cleaning fee applies. The park also has a self-service dog washing machine and a friendly watering hole, and there is an adjacent grassy area.
Another great dog friendly county park on the Gold Coast is the BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park. The most dog-friendly RV park on the Gold Coast offers a large off-leash dog park, full of agility equipment, a do-it-yourself dog bath known as the Puppy Pampering Palace, and an on-site dog kennel.
Dogs are very welcome in the park, at least twenty friendly. Pet-friendly options include Studio Cozy Cabins, Cozy Cabins, Two Bedroom Cottages, Two Bedroom Family Cabins, Two Bedroom Bungalows and Terraces, which sleep two to six guests. Care is not allowed in motel rooms or any larger towns. If you’re unsure, double check with the park or its location (see footprints).
A maximum of two very calm and gentle dogs can join the household without worry, prior reservation is required. Make sure you notify the park when you bring your pet and bring vaccination documents.
Extra Dog Friendly Caravan Parks In Queensland
North Stradbrok Island is one of the dog islands on the Queen’s coast, with dogs allowed on off-leash bars and beaches, as well as on-leash beaches on the island. The classic option is camping on the beaches, which are only accessible by 4×4 vehicles, but there are also pet-friendly guests in North Stradbroke.
Book a Stay at Sea Shanties at Amity Point on the north end of the island. Five of the eight cabins are pet-friendly, and even trained dogs are allowed. The elegantly decorated cabins accommodate two to six people, each with its own kitchen and bathroom.
While the cottages have ocean or garden views, all have access to the property’s deck, including an outdoor oceanfront kitchen and grilling area.
It’s only a three-hour drive north of central Brisbane to Great Sandy Beach, but it’s a world away from the city, especially if you’re staying at the quiet and relaxing Poona Palms Holiday Park.
Pet Friendly Places To Stay
Care can stay with you in the gardens all year round, at the discretion of the caretakers, in motorized areas and in their friendly rooms. Some one bedroom and three bedroom and garden villas are pet friendly; ask directly to find out what they are and make sure to mention that you have your pet when booking.
The caravan park is home to its own off-leash dog park, complete with agility equipment, and there is also a K9000 outside dog wash building for convenience – essential for cleaning up after a fall in the sand. There is also a boat ramp on site, making it a popular area for fishing and crabbing.
Heading further north, if you’re looking for more pet-friendly Queensland hotels, book a stay at BIG4 Hervey Bay Holiday Park. In addition to being in their motorized campsites, care is also allowed in select friendly cabins.
Each open cabin accommodates four people, with a double bed and twin bunk beds. There is a small kitchen and a bathroom with all linens.
Dog Friendly Hotels
The park is conveniently located in Point Vernon. While dogs are allowed on leads on most beaches in the Hervey Bay area, the Point Vernon beach area is largely off-leash. There are three separate off-street areas, including a section of Aplin Street and Pine Park, next to the trailer park.
In the north, Bargara is a popular beach destination near Bundaberg. If you want to holiday with your dog, consider booking a stay at BIG4 Aura – Bargara holiday park and pet-friendly cottages.
Dogs can be accommodated in all of our cabins, including open cabins that sleep four or six people, one bedroom cabins that sleep five, and two bedroom cabins that sleep six or seven people. One small dog is allowed per cabin.

Pet Friendly Accommodation Gold Coast
Parking lots are located just meters from Nielson Park, an off-leash dog park at the north end of Fred Coutice Avenue. Off-leash dogs are also allowed in sections of the Bargara Foreshore accessed from the flats, but certain signs indicating that dogs are not allowed.
A great place to stay if you’re driving north through Queensland is the Mt Larcom Tourist Park. This park is conveniently located on Bruce Road near the Gladstone turnoff.
In addition to the amusements with all the electric and non-electric places allowed in the park, care can join you in the cabins of the park if they are registered at the time of booking. Up to two pets are allowed per room, including inside, as long as they are away from the beds. Note that puppies and kittens under six months of age should be kept in home cages.
The park has two comfortable off-site areas. There is one view to the east that you should see with the “big picture” at sunrise. On the other side there is also another region, on the other lower side; Note that both are not protected. Trash bags are also available at each trash location, and pet towels can be requested from the office.

One of the best pet friendly camper vans in Chartres Towers town center is Dalrymple Tourist Van Park, located 2km north of the town centre. The park overlooks the ball course, which is a de facto off-leash area, and also offers luxury cabins.
The car park overlooks the pool and garden and the budget huts. Each can accommodate up to four or six guests, with a double or queen-size bed and one or two pairs of bunk beds, as well as a kitchen and bathroom with shower. Please contact the park in advance to request a pet friendly cabin with an additional fee of $10 per pet per night.

The park is located next to the magnificent Goomboora Park, which has a large outdoor area, a popular swimming spot for dogs. The park also has its own Rainforest Creek Walk.
The Bush Cabin
If you’re staying with your dog, book one of the designated pet-friendly Daintree or Reef cottages. Daintree Cabins are one-bedroom apartments for two adults and two children, with a double bed in their bedroom, a built-in bed and a private bathroom. The open plan cabin is perfect for two. The two bedroom Pump House, which sleeps six, is now family friendly.
